This place has an interesting story. A modern ghost town on the edge of the Pine Ridge Reservation and Badlands National Park. The entire town and surrounding acreage was sold to the Church of Christ for $799,000 in 2011.
If you look closely at the sign, you can still see the faint traces of the word “NO” preceding the words INDIANS ALLOWED. Small towns are full of unique history.
